We're loving the soft glam Kim has been embracing recently, so we asked our Founder how her skincare routine has inspired her barely-there makeup moments.
Q: How has prioritizing skincare impacted your confidence?
A: It has totally changed my life! Taking the time to perfect my skincare routine has greatly improved my skin texture and given me the confidence to go makeup-free (or at least wear less makeup) more often. I receive so many compliments on my natural skin now, and it makes me so happy!
Q: How has your relationship with makeup evolved since developing a strong skincare routine?
A: I’ve started to think of my skincare as part of my makeup routine. The goal is to create the best and healthiest canvas possible for your makeup. And once the look and feel of your skin starts to improve, I think you naturally just want to cover it up less. Plus, my makeup sits and blends better now. I’m loving all these soft, minimal glam days!
Q: What's the biggest change you've noticed in yourself since prioritizing skincare?
A: Prioritizing a skincare routine has forced me to give myself at least 20 quiet minutes dedicated to myself in the mornings and evenings. My schedule can get pretty crazy, but I love knowing I’ll always have my skincare time!
Q: How have your skincare and makeup routines evolved over the years?
A: I’ve definitely gotten more strict with routines, and that’s made all the difference because consistency really is key when it comes to skincare. No matter what you’re using, if it’s not done consistently it’s really difficult to see any results.
Q: What SKKN BY KIM products do you think have had the biggest impact on your skin?
A: It’s so hard to choose! I think the Exfoliator, because it really is my idea of perfection. I also love our Face Cream and Oil Drops, especially when combined together. And I think both serums have just given me a level of hydration and radiance that I didn’t have before.
Q: What advice do you have for someone just starting their skincare journey?

Q: Why did you decide to launch skincare before relaunching makeup?
A: When we decided to rebrand KKW Beauty, I knew people would be surprised that we started with skincare rather than reintroducing makeup right away, but I really wanted to start fresh at the core of it all.
